Hi I am interested in cordwainers as I am researching my family history. I have in my family John Sykes b1818 in Yorkshire and his occupation was a cordwainer, I was hoping there may be a register names I can check.Hope you can help. I found your web site very interesting keep up the good work.

Hi Cordwainers, I like your new website. I would be especially interested in a 'how to make your own shoes' section, with 'tips and tricks' etc. For more basic shoes than the type you sell, obviously. How about it?
PS The 'Craftsmanship' link on the 'Shop' page doesn't work
